  • Acumatica is not technically a true cloud solution. If this matters to you then you need to remember that while they have multiple deployment models they do not support a multi-tenant option.

  • The partner channel has been bumpy at best for Acumatica. Recently, they removed 43 VARs from their program.

  • As a result of the bumpy partner channel, implementations can be risky. Acumatica is not responsible for implementation, and rely on VARs for vertical deployment.

  • Acumatica has a bit of a mystery pricing model. They use a consumption-based pricing model which can be difficult for customers and partners to understand.

  • The customer can often experience pain points when it comes to customizations. Acumatica updates can conflict with ISV customizations and create issues when those updates are installed for the customer.
